Purpose

This blog is an experiment in spreading happiness. My idea is to post pictures of people I encounter who just look like they are happy to be alive. My thinking is that maybe if happiness doesn't go unnoticed more people will try and outwardly show their happiness in order to get on my blog (a bit arrogant I realize). My hope is that the blog becomes something people aspire to get on. Like a cool accomplishment to share with their friends. "Guess what? My picture was on Joie de Vivre today!" That sort of thing, and just maybe if enough people are trying to look happy to get on the blog the overall happiness of the University will be impacted for the better.
